BOOKING POLICY

Participation

  • Classes are designed, which require parents/carers to engage and fully participate with the young dancer throughout the session.

  • The parent/carer will be responsible for the health, safety and wellbeing of the young dancer throughout the session.

  • Please ensure you arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your class is due to begin to minimise the number of people in the building at any one time and to allow everybody plenty of space.

Credit

  • Courses: All courses are non-refundable, but a coupon code will be issued if you notify us before the commencement of the block booking, that you need to cancel. The coupon will be valid to use within the next 4 block bookings.

Refunds

  • Refunds will only be issued in the unlikely event of cancellation of a class or other services for reasons directly by Christina Liddell Dance (CLD). CLD reserves the right to replace the advertised teacher for any class at any point before the start of the class; this will not be considered grounds for any credit or refunds to be issued.

  • If you are unable to attend a class you have booked into for any reason, a refund or a coupon will not be issued. This includes if you become ill or are required to self-isolate due to Covid protocols.

Cancellation

  • If CLD is required to cancel class(es) we will inform everyone booked onto the class(es) as soon as possible. In the case where CLD has had to cancel class(es) for reasons related to Covid restrictions (e.g. due to government-mandated restrictions on public life, or because we are not able to operate due to venue staff needing to self-isolate) customers in this instance will not be offered refunds or coupon codes.

  • CLD will not be liable in any way if a class or booking is abandoned after more than half of it has taken place due to any factors which are beyond our reasonable control; (i) Acts of God, which include earthquakes, cyclones, storms, flooding, fire, disease, fog, snow or frost; (ii) Force Majeure which includes war, accidents, acts of public enemies, strikes, embargoes, perils of the air, local disputes and civil commotions; (iii) Power failure and failure of internet connection, sound, video or lighting equipment. This also includes the unlikely event of venue closure. CLD will do everything in its power to locate another suitable venue within the local area.

COVID Regulations

  • Following Government regulations, adults are required to take and have a negative lateral flow test before attending the classes.

  • Please do not attend if either yourself or your child has any COVID symptoms or are awaiting the results of a PCR test.

  • You must wear a face covering in all shared spaces in the building, including entering and exiting the building. Adults will be required to wear a mask throughout the dance class (unless exempt).

  • Please bring your own water bottle to the class.

  • Hand sanitiser will be provided on arrival.

  • Due to venue regulations, adults and children are required to leave straight after the session comes to a conclusion.

CLD reserve the right to modify this booking policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.
